Cost: $6/class day
Andrea Fragnito has a bachelor's and master’s degrees in Music Education and taught in the schools for 12 years. Currently she teaches private music lessons and works part-time for Drama Kids International. She is married to Dean, and they have two children: Josiah (16) and Sofia (14). She has 9 years of homeschooling experience.

Description:
Musical Theater Experience is a combination skill-building and performance oriented class. We'll spend time working on skills used in musical theatre performance: singing, acting, movement, teamwork, cooperation and rehearsal behavior. We'll then put these new found skills to good use while we prepare a performance. This class is a good starting point for those who have wanted to try musical theatre and performance as we provide a safe and comfortable learning environment. It is also a great way for those with experience to add to their existing skills.
The first half of the year will be focused on skill building and becoming comfortable with each other and the teachers through theatre games, though we will start working toward a production after a few weeks. Auditions for placement purposes only will take place after classes begin. At the end of the class we'll perform the full production for friends and family complete with sets, props and costumes.

The Musical Theatre club will be performing "Annie Jr."
* 7th graders may have the choice of participating in the high school drama as supportive roles or this club as possible lead roles. If they are in our regular classes, they will have to move to be driven from the other building.
* Students who are not part of our regular program will not be allowed to have lead roles in the play.
Cost: $6/class day
(Parents will need to volunteer in some way around the performances. Details will be released closer to the performance.)
